There was something strangely intriguing about the St. George Roadrunners in its second season as a Golden Baseball League franchise for 2008. We got the usual assortment of games, highlighted by four-hour offensive shows and very little pitching.
More on the pitching in a bit, but in the end, we actually had something to cheer for in the second half of the season.
